Östtyskland hamnar därmed mer eller mindre automatiskt i Nato , eftersom de olika länderna i öst kommer att anslutas till förbundsrepubliken .
East Germany will therefore end up more or less automatically in NATO, as the various countries of the East will join the Federal Republic.
