Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and Wenlin Fan, the independent developer operating SveLingo. By using SveLingo, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Beta product

SveLingo is currently provided as a free beta learning product. Features, content, availability, and data models may change as the product evolves. We may add, change, suspend, or remove beta features at any time.

3. Eligibility

SveLingo is not directed to children under 13. If you are a minor, you should use SveLingo only with permission from a parent or guardian.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@svelingo.com.

5. Learning content

SveLingo provides Swedish learning tools, dictionary content, example sentences, audio playback, review scheduling, and related study features. The product is educational and may contain errors, omissions, or incomplete entries.

Do not rely on SveLingo as professional translation, legal, medical, immigration, or other specialized advice.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse SveLingo. In particular, you may not:

• attempt to access another user's account or learning data;
• scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service;
• upload or send unlawful, harmful, or malicious content;
• circumvent security, rate limits, or access controls;
• use the service in a way that violates applicable law.

7. Feedback and submissions

If you send feedback, bug reports, suggestions, or other submissions, you allow SveLingo to use them to improve the product without obligation to compensate you.

8. Third-party services

SveLingo relies on third-party infrastructure and observability services, including Cloudflare and Datadog. Their services help route traffic, protect the product, monitor reliability, and diagnose production issues.

9. Paid features

SveLingo does not currently offer paid subscriptions or purchases. If paid features are introduced, payment, renewal, cancellation, refund, and tax terms will be added before those features are made available.

10. Termination

You may stop using SveLingo at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if needed to protect the service, enforce these Terms, comply with legal obligations, or respond to abuse.

11. Disclaimers

SveLingo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis during beta. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free content, or specific learning outcomes.

12. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SveLingo and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Swedish law, except where mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
